Seminar to be Organised by TRC

Govt. T.Romana College is to organise a UGC sponsored seminar on the theme 'Socio-Economic and Political History of the Mizos' on July 16, 2009 at I & PR Auditorium, Aizawl. The Seminar will be organised in collaboration with Mizo History Association, Aizawl. Below is a tentative programme of the Seminar.

The Academic Committee in its meeting on 25th June, 2009 has worked out the following schedule for the current academic session.

1. Freshers' Social: Freshers' Social 2009 will be held on July 10 at Archives Hall, Babutlang.

2. Students' Union Election: Election of Students' Union Leaders will be conducted on July 17, 2009 (Friday). Detail information regarding the election may be obtained from the Returning Officer Mr CVL Tlanhlua. The following lecturers will assist the R.O. as Polling Officials.

3. First Terminal Examination: The First Terminal Examination for I B.A. (General and Honours) will be conducted between 27th - 31st July, 2009. Lecturers are notified to submit all question papers for the examination by July 22, 2009. Results will be declared on August 21, 2009.

The First Terminal Examination for II and III B.A. will be conducted between 31st August - 4th September, 2009.

4. College Week: The College Week 2009 will be held between 10th - 14th August at College Veng Field.
