The Students Union of Government T. Romana College organized the annual ‘Freshers' Social cum Graduation Day, 2010’ at Chanmari YMA Hall, Aizawl, on July 22, 2010. The function was graced by Shri Lalsawta, Hon’ble Minister of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Mizoram. The function chaired by Mr Richard Lalremsiama, Vice President, Students Union opened with Bible Reading and Prayer from Mr R. Lalnunpuia, Secretary, Evangelical Union. Mr Ramdingliana Sailo, General Secretary, Students Union gave a brief report on the activities of the Union during the last academic session.
The Chief Guest, Shri Lalsawta delivered a speech and encouraged the students and faculty members to uphold moral values in their life. The Chief Guest also distributed several excellence awards to the students. The recipients of the awards instituted by the College are :
