The College has constituted the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) following the accreditation of the College by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The Cell has the responsibility of ensuring the improvement and sustenance of quality education in the institution.

The first meeting of the IQAC was held on 26th March, 2007 at the Principal’s Chamber. The Committee resolved to take several measures to introduce and maintain quality education in the college. The Committee also expressed its appreciation of the financial support(Rs. 50,000) provided by the NAAC for the formation of IQAC and the purchase of computers as well as building the college website.

The Cell has submitted its application for organizing a State level One-Day Workshop for College Teachers and Students relating to quality improvement in higher education in Mizoram. The workshop is scheduled to be held on August 31, 2007 at Aizawl.
