On 12th September, 2008 the Govt. of Mizoram has issued Notification relating to the absorption of lecturers in the 12 newly provincialised colleges. The absorption was done on the recommendation of Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC). Their service in Deficit Colleges prior to entry into Govt. service on regular basis shall be counted towards qulifying service for pension and gratuity at the time they retire from Govt. service, the period of break, if any being condoned. The Notification is absorbtion of their service int Govt. service only and will not affect the interse-seniority of the officers.
